A black tidal wall of music is rushing up the river swallowing vessels and conspiring with the Kraken to uproot trees with a sonic blast and tear down churches with a raining hail of terror disguised in the essence distilled from the fathers who unleashed the snarling dogs that were to be called rock and roll by a herd of bleating sheep who were to face the executioner who dressed in black and brandished an axe of vibrating steel strings. Chords and minor chords and a tsunami of barnacled bass rhythmic sexuality unleashed and flourished inside the loins of the few who dared embrace the spoils of the anarchists who created a musical journey for Gothic passengers to embark and experience.

Life and love and death and life are all inside the notes that Gothic music creates and the history we know that starts in the 1960's is but a drop in the well for the Gothic roots of music are deep and twisting back to the classical misfits and drugged out psychopaths of centuries long gone who lived in a world of eyes leaking syphilis and fingers bent with the arthritics of slavery.
